I am a Panamanian-American filmmaker with over 17 years of audiovisual storytelling experience. After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2013, I cut my teeth in the industry editing commercial work for names like Disney, CNN, Nike, and IMDb while also honing my independent filmmaking craft. In 2014, I was invited to bring my short film Big World to Sundance for an emerging filmmaker initiative by Adobe. That same year, Big World was featured on BBC’s Talking Movies. Since then, my short films have screened at festivals such as Marfa, Ashland, and Lone Star (winner, Best Director), as well as online platforms like Omeleto and booooooom tv.

Growing up between the U.S. and Panamá, I was raised on the stories of my forebears. Learning how to communicate these stories back home has always shaped my storytelling, and Fortaleza is no exception.

Fortaleza is currently undergoing the final stages of post-production at Splendor Omnia Studios and will be finished by early July ‘26.
